Maintaining Black Wool Felt
Brush with a dark-bristled hat brush after every wear, working with the grain of the felt. Store on a hat stand or upside down on the crown to maintain the brim shape. Keep away from direct sunlight when not being worn, as prolonged UV exposure can fade black wool felt to a greenish or brownish tint over time. A lint roller is useful for removing pet hair and fabric fibres between wears.
