This crushable pork pie hat differs from the diamond crown version in crown shape: the top is flat rather than indented, following the original pork pie design that has been in production since the mid-1800s. The flat-top silhouette is cleaner and more geometric than the diamond crown, creating a sharper profile when viewed from the side. The crushable wool felt construction allows the hat to be packed flat for travel and returned to shape with a shake.

Handmade from 100% wool felt with a grosgrain band and cotton sweatband. Available in four colours: black, navy, brown, and grey. Sized from Small to X-Large. The black version is the most formal option and the one most commonly worn with tailored clothing and dark outerwear.

Both shapes are labelled ""pork pie"" and both are correct. The flat top is the original and the more geometric. The diamond crown is the modern variation with a softer profile.
