This is the two-colour version of our buffalo leather outback hat, available in both black and brown. Buffalo leather was traditionally used in Australian stockman hats because it can take repeated exposure to sun, rain, and dust without losing its structural integrity. The same qualities make it a strong choice for anyone in the UK who wears a cowboy hat for more than costume purposes.
The construction is classic outback: a 10cm high crown with side eyelets for ventilation, a 7.5cm curved brim that you can shape to your preferred angle, and a chin strap for days when the wind picks up. The internal sweatband keeps the leather comfortable against your forehead during extended wear.
