The brown version of our waxed canvas outback hat carries a warmer tone that works particularly well with earth-coloured jackets, wax barbour-style coats, and country clothing. The thick waxed canvas is naturally water-resistant and rated UPF 40+ for sun protection, two things that matter when you are actually wearing a hat outdoors rather than hanging it on a wall.

The construction is Australian outback style: a high 10cm crown for ventilation, a 7.5cm shapeable brim you can curl or flatten to suit your face, and six brass eyelets along the crown for airflow. The braided leather band sits around the base of the crown, and the adjustable chin strap keeps it on your head in wind.
